If like me, you are an individual who is not easily lured into spam emails, stupid popups and rubbish deals, you'll always have though site that offer 'free' ipods, xboxs, playstaions and such are scams! I know I did for absolutely ages.
Recently though, I have come to find out that these website do deliver what they promise.... A free item! I was so suprised when I found out haha. I'ev been passing this off for years as a scam, when I could have been earning all these free new things.
I know you always hear "there's no such thing as a free lunch" or "nothing in life is free". I can actually show you that this isn't true. Sure you can pay for offers that these sites have (they are a minute amount) but you can also get your stuff for free. I've found that all it takes it a bit of effort and a bit of time.
After finding out that these site actuall work I decided i'd give it a try... i mean, come on, what have i got to lose if its free?! So, i sign up to the site, kind of expecting to get spam emails to my email address, but to my suprise there were non! "Great" I thought!
bviously before I jumped into this I had done a bit of research. There is this community of American and English people who have racked up over £150,000 ($300,000) worth of free items. I was amazed! So, anyway, back to my research. I find out that whilst you can take a free offer, you can also do paid offers. In the end I chose a paid offer as it was only like £5 ($10) and you got the same amount free! Even better. The reason I chose the paid off over the free is that the free offer can apparently take up to 14 to activate, meaning you have to wait a while to start 'referring' people. As Im quite an impatient kinda guy, i obviously went for the quick option.
So, im signed up now and I need to find people to sign up for me! This is where the effort comes in. In order for you to get a freebie you need to refer people through a personal link to sign up to offers on the site. Once they have completed an offer, you get the referral and they can start referring people. Anyway, my first port of call was family. I couldn't ask anyone who lived at my adress as referrals have to be 1 IP per household. That was a bummer, so then I ask family who didn't live at my house. This is where I was in luck!! I managed to get 3 family member to sign up for the free offer! I was really pleased as to get my freebie I only needed 3 people! (I was aiming low to see if it actually works and went for a 2gb ipod shuffle).
So, now I have my 3 referrals, what do i do? I submit my status to the reward website. Less than a week later I have a free 2gb ipod shuffle! (well, not free, but only £5! ($10) haha!).
I can officially say that these websites are not a scam. I am so pleased I have found a way I dont have to pay for these cool things! I did some math too. Turns out, even if you did pay people £5 ($10) a time to sign up to offers, you will still get the item for less than 1/3 of its normal price!
The math -
An ipod touch 8gb on the reward site needs 9 referrals. So, you bribe 9 people with £5($10) and it only costs £45($90). Seriously lol! The good bit now...an 8gb ipod touch retails at around £150 ($300)! Look at the saving, even if you were going to pay. You can also do it absolutely free. There is a free 14day trial for a lovefilm serivce (dvd rentals). All you need to do is register with them, order one free dvd (even the postage to send back is paid), watch the dvd, send it back (free) and then cancel the offer on the 14th day. Get 9 friends to do this and you have a FREE ipod touch 8gb!
Seriously, if you doint have the money for all of these spangly new things then try out this system. You dont have anything to lose.
Here is the website I used www.sideearner.co.uk. It is an absolutely great website! It tells you how you, the reward site, and the company benefit, how the 2 companies can afford to do it, tips on getting referrals, proof of the system (im proof enough lol) and a lot of other things.
If you wish to sign up to this system, go to the "Get your gadget" page and follow his/her directions!
So to summarise. This system isn't a scam, it is a god send!
